Knightdale, NC - Saturday, November 15, 2008 the Chi Rho Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated hosted its 3rd annual spades tournament, silent auction and raffle in support of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, NC Triangle Affiliate. This event took place at The Little Gym of Knightdale, 5001 Village Park Drive , from 3-9pm. There were 30 teams, a host of family and friends and over 20 paraphernalia-cladded Sorority sisters in attendance. Chi Rho Omega wishes to thank our chapter Sorority sister Nadine Stewart and her husband Clarence, owners of The Little Gym of Knightdale for allowing us to hold this event at their facility! We would also like to thank our Sorority sisters, family and friends for supporting this record-breaking event. We are proud to announce that 100% of the net proceeds raised will be donated to the Susan G. Komen, NC Triangle Affiliate!

Chi Rho Omega, in partnership with the Riley Hill Family Life Center, sponsors an End-of-Grade Prep and Saturday Tutorial Program at the Riley Hill Family Life Center, 5901 Riley Hill Road, Wendell, from 9-11 a.m. on the following Saturdays: January 12 and 26; February 9 and 23; March 8 and 15; April 12 and 26; and May 10 and 17.

Environmental Sweep Preservation
Chi Rho Omega is committed to keeping North Carolina clean as part of the Adopt-A-Highway program. Our scheduled clean up dates are: March 1st, June 7th, November 1st and December 6th.
